In the Office: Scandinavian Inspiration

Office02

Just this week, I have purchased a large wooden kitchen bench in the palest of shade available and have ikea-hacked it into a magnificent desk for my piano studio. With the tall black piano striking such a presence my room, I have decided to keep all things clean and simple by gathering items neutral in colour, from the most fragrant white roses to the stacks of boxes in different hues of grey. With it still looking a bit empty, my search for inspiration brings you these lovely Scandinavian rooms and offices.

What do you think? Lovely and open or do you prefer more pops of colour?

After a long day of teaching little humans at a holiday music school, running last minute errands and rushing to a pilates class, I was able to finally settle in for a bowl of humble chicken and vegetable soup accompanied by a long list of blog posts reads to catch up on. Getting sidetracked by a post in Design*Sponge resulted in me stumbling across a small gallery of the most delightful white rooms. And with that, may I point out how spacious and magnificent the rooms above look? Have a look at the full post here.

PS. A Gin Wheel or this poster would be perfect in the beautiful white rooms, no?
